OX Anti-corrosive Alkyd Enamel Smooth

Modo de empleo :

Stir the contents of the container well. Apply with brush and roller at original viscosity. If applied by spray, adjust the viscosity with appropriate thinners (OX Jafep Special Solvent). Surfaces containing old paints must be scraped and completely cleaned to ensure adhesion. On iron and steel with signs of oxidation, loose particles must be removed or if there are already areas with corrosion, they must be brushed to remove loose rust. If the rust is abundant, it will have to be neutralized using Jafep Rust Neutralizer. Better protection can be obtained by previously applying a layer of Jafep Anticorrosive Primer to the OX Jafep Enamel. Apply two layers of at least 50 microns, in order to achieve a thickness of no less than 100 dry microns, equivalent to 0.1 mm, to achieve conventional anticorrosive protection in moderate environments. It is recommended to increase the thickness or combine with primer in coastal and particularly complicated environments.

• Do not apply at temperatures below 5 ºC or above 30 ºC.
• Do not apply at risk of frost or rain.
• Do not apply in strong wind conditions or under direct sun.
• Avoid using different batches in the same cloth or, failing that, mix the current jar with the next one 50% to reduce the normal differences between batches.

Almacenamiento:

• In its original closed container, at non-extreme temperature and humidity.
• Keep away from direct sunlight.
• Maximum recommended since manufacturing: 2 years.

Memoria Descriptiva: The painting of metal structures and iron and steel surfaces will be carried out with the OX Anti corrosive Enamel from Jafep Paints company. Proven anti-corrosion resistance with tests carried out by Mediciones y Corrosión S.L. The performance will be 12 to 14 m²/L and coat. The support must be clean, dry and free of rust, dust, grease. The manufacturer's general recommendations will be respected.
