Considering performance when buying a paint can help us save time and money.<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Every day is spreading the idea that the smartest thing to do is to buy cheap because as a general rule it is assumed that the manufacturer can always lower the price without lowering the quality.<\/p>\n

Well, although it may seem impossible, it is very likely that by buying cheaper we actually pay more.<\/p>\n

To demonstrate this, let’s do a small study based on the performance of two paints:<\/p>\n

1.- On the one hand we have entered the website of a well known DIY chain where we can find 4 L. of paint for only 4.00\u20ac. with an approximate yield of 4-5 m\u00b2 \/l. <\/p>\n

2.- On the other hand, from the Pinturas Jafep catalog, we chose an interior paint with an approximate yield of 13-14 m\u00b2\/l and whose RRP in the market ranges between 19 and 21 \u20ac. <\/p>\n

Let’s assume that we need to paint 112 m\u00b2 of surface, which is in good condition and ready to paint.<\/p>\n
