Pinturas Jafep supports the Greenprice initiative for the application of reduced VAT on “green” products such as our Easy Clean easy-clean paint.
The Greenprice initiative was born from the European DIY distributors, with the aim of getting the European Commission to open the corresponding debate and to propose in the Parliament the VAT reduction proposal for this type of products.
In this way, the consumption of ecological products for the home would be promoted, collaborating in the reduction of energy consumption and in the protection of the environment.
This requires the support of 1 million Europeans. By collecting this number of signatures, the 27 Member States can be asked to modify the taxation of this type of products.
