Aural Protection and Pétrex5 coating paints were chosen to protect the Hotel’s façade.
The Emblematic Hotel San Agustin is located in a manor house built in the early eighteenth century in the historic center of the town of Icod de los Vinos, gateway to the region of Isla Baja and with the Teide as a backdrop to the city.
For the opening of the Hotel it has been necessary to restore this manor house built in 1736. Our distributor in Tenerife has supplied the company in charge of the restoration work with three of our best products:
- Pinecol for rooms : Matt plastic paint with low odor and no emission of toxic or harmful substances for people or the environment, ideal for immediate occupancy of the room once painted without any discomfort.
- Aural Facade protection : Waterproofs the facade, maintains breathability and gives it excellent resistance to Co2 diffusion.
- Pétrex5 for interior patios: A product that speaks for itself and is well known by all, with excellent results in recent tests carried out by Tecnalia (Cidemco).
All in all a great restoration work, using innovative and high quality materials for a perfect hotel to relax while listening to the water falling from the fountain located in the central courtyard, reading a book in the comfortable rooms, or simply watching people strolling through the cobblestone streets that make up the old core of the city.
